As a member of the British Columbia Field Ornithologists (BCFO). I was recently invited to give a presentation about my birding adventures in Australia. It is my third presentation for the BCFO. The others included birding in the Mexico and one about UK birds. This presentation was done via Zoom and recorded by Megan Buers.

I enjoy presenting at libraries, schools and clubs. Zoom presentations are a little more challenging as one cannot judge the audience. Being in front of a crowd creates a different energy unless of course they're throwing rotten tomatoes. Thankfully that hasn't happed yet!
I hope you enjoy the presentation, flaws and all. I like to thank BCFO for recording the presentation and for all the excellent programs BCFO offers throughout the province. If you have an interest in birds, birding and meeting some of the provinces best birders then think about joining up. It's worth every penny. Membership includes an excellent newsletter edited by Clive Keen that is worth the price of admission alone. There are also some great walks and programs for members, some free of charge.
Please check out the BCFO website.
